Having spent many years coaching children’s football for all ages, we're amazed at how much time and attention some coaches give to their best players.
Often resulting in the players who need the extra help receiving the least.
Whilst it's great to have talented children on your team, often they only need minor tweaks to their gameplay.
The children that really lose out in these types of situation are the quieter, less technically gifted ones.
They're often overlooked during drills, get less playing time during games, and lose confidence when they make a bad pass or miss an easy chance at goal.
Every parent would love to see their son or daughter become the next Ronaldo or Messi but unfortunately for 99.9% of kids, that's just not what the future holds for them.
Each child develops physically and mentally at their own pace, and something that might be easy for one, may be near impossible for another.
But don't worry, there's good news…
While your child is young, they are able pick up new skills and techniques remarkably fast and, once mastered, they become second nature.
That's why it's so important to work on four main core areas alongside the match specifics. Our football drills focus on improving your child’s:
Mini Tekkers offer private football coaching sessions which consist of fun games and activities that subtly focus on these four areas. They also improve things like control, passing, dribbling and shooting.
We're always happy to welcome new children on a 1-to-1, 1-to-2 or 1-to-3 basis. Meaning your child will develop the skills and confidence to shine and can potentially do this alongside a friend or two.
Initial sessions last for one hour and are booked in a block of 4. This will give us a good grasp on where your child currently is and where they need to improve going forward.
Currently we are only offering sessions to a very small number of children so if you are interested in discussing private football coaching further, please get in touch by completing the form below or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
